The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed about the higher variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance place developed for intervention ordeals a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
